As portrait photographers, we’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of women.
Most of the time, those women are brides, or high school seniors.
We think women deserve to feel confident, beautiful, and seen even when they’re not getting married or graduating from school!

We shoot Boudoir that’s less risque than some beaches; Glamour that can make any woman look like a model; and Pick-Me-Ups that can get you over any rough patch.

Focus Photography is a private and serene portrait studio on the river in Westbrook.
We have 2000 square feet of shooting space in our studio, or we can work at the beach or a park if you prefer.
If you come to our studio you’ll be the only client, and the space will be yours.

The difference between a laugh line being cute, and it being a crevice, is lighting. Filled in with light, it’s a beautiful feature, but filled with shadow, it becomes a devastating distraction on your face.

Two hours in the studio, sheet sets and fabric draping. Low, soft lighting.

Fashion lighting and editorial sets make glamour shoots more like a magazine spread than a boudoir session.
Up to 2 hours in the camera room (bring snacks).

Pin Up
Our Pin Up sessions involve a high amount of digital artwork, and so are higher priced as a session than our other women’s portrait sessions.

Black and White Art Session
Before we shot boudoir or glamour, we were known for our black and white art prints of women that hung in exhibits in Portland.
Though we no longer shoot for art galleries, we can immortalize your beauty in black and white.

No Risk
As with all of our photoshoots at Focus Photography, we guarantee you’ll love your pictures.
If you’re not thrilled with your assortment of images at your preview and order session, we’ll either schedule another shoot to create more images, or refund your session fee.
Please note, if you pay a make up artist, we can’t guarantee their fees, only our own photography shoots.
